G. Benjamin Lehr

G. Benjamin “Ben” Lehr, P.E., DBIA, LEED AP, is Vice President of Markets at ChenMoore, with over 25 years of experience leading the pursuit and delivery of complex transportation infrastructure projects throughout the United States. In his executive leadership role, he is responsible for driving strategic market growth, client development, and business expansion across the firm’s transportation, aviation, and infrastructure markets. Ben works closely with public agencies, transportation authorities, and design-build partners to strengthen client relationships, identify new opportunities, and support the successful delivery of multidisciplinary infrastructure programs.

Throughout his career, Ben has managed and overseen a diverse portfolio of transportation projects for state departments of transportation, counties, municipalities, and public agencies across Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, North Carolina, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, and Ohio. His expertise includes transportation engineering, bridge and structural design, design-build delivery, project management, quality assurance, and constructability. Having collaborated with many of the nation’s leading heavy civil contractors, he brings a contractor’s perspective to project planning and execution, helping clients reduce risk, improve efficiency, and deliver successful projects from concept through construction.

Ben earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering from the University of Florida. He is a licensed Professional Engineer, Design-Build Professional (DBIA), and LEED Accredited Professional. He is also an active member of the American Road and Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA), the Design-Build Institute of America Florida Region (DBIA-FL), and the American Council of Engineering Companies of Florida (ACEC-FL) Transportation Committee. His strategic leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to client service continue to strengthen ChenMoore’s market presence and support the firm’s long-term growth.
