Garit Poire, P.E., M.S., is Senior Vice President of Operations & Strategy at ChenMoore, providing executive leadership for the firm’s strategic initiatives, operational performance, and long-term growth. He combines technical expertise, business strategy, and client-focused leadership to strengthen organizational performance, expand market opportunities, and drive innovation across the firm’s diverse service lines. Garit works closely with clients, partners, and internal teams to align business objectives with successful project delivery while fostering long-term relationships built on trust and collaboration.

With a strong background in civil engineering, business development, marketing, and infrastructure delivery, Garit brings a comprehensive perspective to every project, guiding efforts from strategic planning and client engagement through design and implementation. As a licensed Professional Engineer, Certified General Contractor, and Underground Utility Contractor in the State of Florida, he possesses extensive knowledge of engineering, construction, permitting, and project execution. His ability to integrate technical excellence with strategic decision-making enables ChenMoore to deliver innovative, practical, and client-centered solutions across a wide range of infrastructure projects.

Garit earned both Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Civil Engineering from Florida State University. He is actively involved in advancing the engineering profession through leadership with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Florida Section, where he serves as an officer and committee chair supporting professional development, outreach, and community engagement. His collaborative leadership style, commitment to operational excellence, and passion for building lasting partnerships continue to strengthen ChenMoore’s culture and create long-term value for clients and the communities they serve.
