Jason McClair, P.E., CFM, LEED AP, is Senior Vice President and Chief Engineer of ChenMoore, with over 25 years of experience in civil engineering, water resources, utility infrastructure, and technical leadership. As Senior Vice President and Chief Engineer, he oversees the firm’s engineering operations, technical quality, and resource management while providing executive leadership across ChenMoore’s multidisciplinary practice. He also serves as Principal-in-Charge and Senior Project Manager for major public infrastructure programs throughout Florida, leading multidisciplinary teams on complex stormwater, utility, and municipal engineering projects. Mr. McClair is widely recognized for his expertise in stormwater management modeling and has directed the development of numerous stormwater and infrastructure master plans for municipalities and public agencies across Florida.

Mr. McClair’s technical expertise includes stormwater management, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, utility infrastructure design, regulatory permitting, and master planning for stormwater collection, water distribution, and sanitary sewer transmission systems. His experience spans all phases of project delivery, including planning, modeling, design, permitting, construction administration, and program management. Throughout his career, he has successfully delivered resilient, cost-effective infrastructure solutions for municipalities, counties, utilities, and special districts, with an emphasis on improving system performance, regulatory compliance, and long-term sustainability.

Mr. McClair earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida and is a licensed Professional Engineer, Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM), and LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP). His combination of technical expertise, executive leadership, and commitment to engineering excellence has made him a trusted advisor to public agencies throughout Florida, helping clients successfully implement complex infrastructure programs that strengthen community resilience and support sustainable growth.
