Peter M. Moore

Peter M. Moore, P.E., F.ASCE, FACEC, F.FES, is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ChenMoore, providing executive leadership for one of the Southeast’s leading multidisciplinary engineering, planning, and landscape architecture firms. With more than two decades at ChenMoore, Peter has played a pivotal role in the firm’s growth, helping transform it from a small practice into a nationally recognized organization serving clients throughout Florida and the Southeast. His leadership is centered on technical excellence, innovation, client service, and cultivating a collaborative culture that consistently delivers exceptional results.

A licensed Professional Engineer, Peter has extensive experience leading complex infrastructure programs and multidisciplinary teams across a broad range of municipal, transportation, water, utility, and land development projects. His executive leadership combines strategic vision with a deep understanding of engineering, business operations, and organizational growth. Under his leadership, ChenMoore has expanded its geographic footprint, diversified its technical services, strengthened client partnerships, and built a reputation for delivering high-quality, sustainable infrastructure solutions.

Peter earned both Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida, where he serves on the Engineering School of Sustainable Infrastructure and Environment (ESSIE) Advisory Board. He also serves on the Florida Atlantic University Foundation Board and the Nova Southeastern University College of Engineering Industry Advisory Board. A recognized leader within the engineering profession, Peter is a past President of both the American Council of Engineering Companies of Florida (ACEC-FL) and the Florida Engineering Society (FES) Broward Chapter, and has served as FES/ACEC-FL Government Relations Chair for more than a decade. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers (F.ASCE), the American Council of Engineering Companies (FACEC), and the Florida Engineering Society (F.FES), reflecting his longstanding commitment to advancing the engineering profession and serving the communities where ChenMoore works.
