ChenMoore provided construction engineering and inspection (CEI) services for the Broward County UAZ 113B Water Sewer Improvements project in the City of Lauderdale Lakes. The project was designed to enhance the reliability and performance of the existing water distribution and sanitary sewer systems while restoring impacted roadway and surface features throughout the construction corridor.

The improvements encompassed approximately 350 acres and included utility work along local streets and major transportation corridors such as NW 31st Avenue, West Oakland Park Boulevard, and US 441. Existing infrastructure consisted of a diverse network of water mains, gravity sewers, and force mains constructed from multiple pipe materials and ranging in size from 2 inches to 24 inches in diameter.

Project improvements included the installation of approximately 66,200 linear feet of water main, 42,700 linear feet of gravity sewer, and 1,500 linear feet of force main, totaling more than 110,000 linear feet of utility infrastructure. The project also included rehabilitation of a Broward County lift station and extensive roadway, sidewalk, driveway, and landscape restoration necessary to support the utility upgrades.

Throughout construction, ChenMoore provided comprehensive CEI services including roadway and utility inspections, coordination with contractors and stakeholders, documentation, quality assurance, and closeout support. The team’s efforts helped ensure successful project delivery while maintaining public safety, minimizing disruptions, and supporting long-term utility system reliability for the surrounding community.
