Euclid Streetscape Improvements

ChenMoore served as the prime consultant for the pedestrianization of Euclid Avenue between Lincoln Road and Lincoln Lane in Miami Beach. The project transformed a vehicular street into an extension of the iconic Lincoln Road Mall through integrated civil engineering, landscape architecture, utility coordination, and streetscape design.

The City of Miami Beach retained ChenMoore to provide civil engineering and landscape architecture services for the pedestrianization of Euclid Avenue between Lincoln Road and Lincoln Lane. Funded through a developer’s agreement with Lincoln Center Associates, the project expanded the historic Lincoln Road Mall pedestrian corridor while enhancing safety, accessibility, and the public realm.

ChenMoore prepared site design and permitting documents for the streetscape improvements, including hardscape, landscaping, lighting, drainage, and utility enhancements. The design created a pedestrian-focused environment that complements the character of Lincoln Road while supporting adjacent commercial activity.

The project required extensive coordination with City planning, public works, greenspace management, and capital improvements departments, as well as Miami-Dade County environmental protection, traffic, and utility agencies. ChenMoore managed multidisciplinary coordination throughout design development to address permitting and technical requirements.

Through integrated engineering and landscape architecture, the project successfully transformed the roadway into a vibrant pedestrian space, strengthening connectivity within the Lincoln Road Mall district and enhancing the visitor experience in one of Miami Beach’s premier destinations.
