CMA President Peter Moore Spoke at App-titude Internship Program

CMA President Peter Moore, P.E., LEED AP, F.ASCE, spoke with over 60 students from the App-titude Internship program for nearly two hours at the Keller Science Theater at the Fort Lauderdale Museum of Discovery and Science. The App-titude Internship is a one of a kind internship through the Museumﾒs STEM Center for Education and Career Development. The APP-titude program advances the skills of academically minded students in grades 11 and 12 throughout Broward County. The multi-year project provides students with the opportunity to earn college credits from Florida Atlantic University and volunteer hours while advancing their knowledge in STEM education and careers and learning imperative applied skills such as team work, communication and decision-making. Many of these students will go on to college to major in computer science and engineering.
