CMA Staff Volunteer for Habitat for Humanity Project

On Saturday, October 14th, CMA staff members Craig Wallander, Jazmin Cruz, Ruben Soto, Maritza Figueroa and her daughter Aryana volunteered at the Rick Case Habitat Community to assist Habitat for Humanity by painting the interior of a single-family home. The group was responsible for applying the first coat of paint to the entire house, including walls, ceiling, and closets. The future homeowner Evelyn Miller was also part of the group. Evelyn is expected to move in with her husband and son by early December. Habitat for Humanity is a global nonprofit housing organization working in local communities across the U.S. and approximately 70 countries by building strength, stability, and self-reliance in partnership with families in need of decent and affordable housing. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage.  https://www.habitatbroward.org/
