Dr. Ben Chen, P.E., BCEE, Named ASCE Broward Engineer of The Year

Congratulations to our Chairman of the Board Dr. Ben Chen, P.E., BCEE, who was honored with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Broward Engineer of the Year Award at the annual awards and installation banquet. Associate Engineers Jessica Diaz, EI and Teresa Lewis, EI were installed as bowl-a-thon chairpersons and Teresa Lewis was also installed as social media chairperson. CMA Vice President Jose L. Acosta, P.E., spoke during the presentation. CMA was a platinum sponsor of the annual meeting, held at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina, where new ASCE Broward Officers are inducted as well as certain ASCE members within the County are recognized for excellence in engineering through a variety of awards. Susan Chen, Peter Moore, P.E., F.ASCE, ENV SP, LEED AP, Derrick Smith, CFM, LEED AP and Jennifer Smith, P.E. also attended the event.
