  • Candidate would contribute to projects including collecting existing utility data; performing modeling and simulation; site grading; water distribution system; sanitary sewer collection system; drainage analysis; roadway alignment; pavement marking; signage; and erosion control.
  • Prepare project design drawings within MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
  • Develop project specific detail drawings.
  • Calculate project construction quantity estimates.
  • Assist with technical specifications, cost estimates, reports, schedules, and other related tasks.
  • Learn and adhere to client-specific standards.
  • Coordinate with team members and client representatives.
  • Periodic travel to project sites for field investigation and or construction support.
  • Project outlines, project initiation, project schedules, project executions, and project closeout.
  • Interface with multi-disciplinary design teams.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering; a Master’s Degree is a plus, but not required
  • Engineer-In-Training (EI) designation is preferred. The expectation is that such candidate would be working towards becoming a Professional Engineer (P.E.)

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills

Preferred Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of FDOT standards.
  • Knowledge of Civil 3D and ArcGIS.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply complex systems.
  • Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
