CMA staff members Teresa Mills and Jennifer Kelton recently visited the Riverview Road Water Main project in the Town of Jupiter Island. CMA is serving as the prime consultant for civil engineering and construction administration services and is responsible for designing the water main improvements for the South Martin Regional Utility. The project is expected to be completed this summer.
CMA Vice President Jason McClair, P.E., LEED AP, CFM presented on Friday, June 23rd at the Pompano Beach Cultural Center as part of the Urban Land Institute of Southeast Florida (ULI)/Caribbean and the Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) joint symposium. The event explored the $500 million investment opportunity in the emerging Pompano Beach Innovation District and the plan for an innovative and resilient drainage district. Safiya Brea, P.E., LEED AP recently celebrated her 15th Chenniversary at a special breakfast on June 21 in our Fort Lauderdale office. Safiya is a Senior Project Manager and has led a variety of projects including the design of roadways, sidewalks, drainage, water and wastewater infrastructure in the Tri-County area. Congratulations Saf!

CMA President Peter Moore, P.E., LEED AP. F.ASCE, was recently elected Region 5 Director for ASCE until 2020. In this role, he will communicate between ASCEメs region 5, which represents Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi and Puerto Rico and the board of direction. Peter will also recommend region governors to serve on board and society committees and plan, organize, direct, manage, and carry out events to engage and serve members in the region.
